Housekeeping Manager

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Housekeeping Operations. Directs daily housekeeping functions for guest rooms, suites, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.


• Ensures consistent adherence to luxury cleanliness standards.


• Implements inspection protocols, audits, and corrective action plans to maintain top-tier guest satisfaction scores.


• Inventory Equipment Oversight Manages linen, supplies, chemicals, and equipment, ensuring cost control and proper usage.


• Safety Compliance Ensures OSHA, environmental, and brand compliance across all housekeeping activities.


• Team Leadership — Leads, mentors, and develops housekeeping managers, supervisors, and frontline staff.


• Training & Development — Establishes skill-based training pathways, cross-training, and performance coaching aligned with Chamonix’s career ladder.


• Labor Planning — Manages staffing levels, scheduling, productivity targets, and labor budgets with zero overtime as a strategic goal.


• Budget Oversight — Develops and manages departmental budgets, forecasts, and cost-control initiatives.


• Performance Metrics — Tracks KPIs including cleanliness scores, guest feedback, turnover, labor efficiency, and supply usage.


• Cross-Department Collaboration — Partners with Hotel Operations, HR, Engineering, and Front Office to support resort-wide initiatives and operational excellence.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong expertise in workforce planning, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.

• Experience managing seasonal or visa-based workforces (H-2B preferred).

• Proven ability to lead large teams, drive performance, and maintain high morale.

• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.

• 5–7+ years of progressive housekeeping leadership experience in luxury hospitality.

• Delivers strategic execution, develops talent, exercises strong financial acumen, makes guest-centric decisions collaborates cross-functionally, and leads with unwavering accountability and integrity.

BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION

$80,000 - $85,000 based on experience
