Description

Maintains the cleanliness of all areas of the hotel.

Responsibilities

Transports cleaning equipment up and down ramps.
Vacuums and shampoos carpet. (Daily)
Washes windows inside and out.
Washes and cleans walls light fixtures, louvers, ceilings, shelves and outside walls and cement walls.
Operates and controls all mechanical equipment including rotary machines, blowers and back vacuums.
Cleans and empties various cleaning equipment including shampooers, buffers and vacuums.
Recognizes and uses appropriate chemicals.
Assists Room Attendants with stripping beds, emptying trash, bringing fresh linen and other related responsibilities.
When needed, make up room.
Delivers upon requests guest amenities, i.e. pillows, additional beds, blankets and much more.
All other duties as assigned.
Overall cleaning of the hotel.
Responsible for deep cleaning of rooms.
Consistently demonstrates superior customer service skills by displaying Spotlight on Success behaviors.
Maintains upbeat, positive attitude, positive energy and enthusiasm from one interaction to the next.
Creates an atmosphere of luck and celebrates customer wins.
Is ready to serve and informed of daily information; builds relationships by greeting guests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting.
Anticipates needs and provides fast, flawless service.
Checks for satisfaction and properly uses the Service Recovery process to resolve problems when they exist.
Promotes Total Rewards programs and card membership.
Provides a warm farewell and thanks guests for visiting.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Qualifications

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and Housekeeping experience preferred
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
