Join our company as a full-time Houseperson in our hotel housekeeping team! Experience is preferred but we're willing to train the right candidate. A flexible schedule and weekend availability is required.

Due West Tavern and Market is a sophisticated modern tavern housed in a cozily refurbished, circa-1865 building. Due West Tavern houses a vibrant, recently remodeled market, Due West Market, featuring house-baked items and signature on-the-go picnic staples.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A HOUSEPERSON

The Houseperson is responsible for creating a fresh and inviting atmosphere for guests by making sure all areas of the hotel are clean. Responsibilities include maintaining the common areas of the hotel such as the lobby, hallways and activity areas like the pool, spa, fitness center and laundry rooms. This position supports and assists housekeeping team members in their daily duties including turndown.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

• Guest and customer service focused


• Friendly and welcoming demeanor when dealing with guests and/or co-workers


• Excellent attendance


• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques


• Awareness of safety precautions for working with cleaning agents


• Attention to detail


• Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working in hotel housekeeping


• Ability to work a flexible schedule
