The Role

A growing software company is seeking an HR & People Operations Manager to build and lead its people programs. This hands-on role will improve structure and consistency across performance management, compensation, recruiting, onboarding, and employee experience.

Responsibilities

  Build and manage performance-review and employee-feedback processes.

  Create salary bands, role levels, and consistent raise and promotion practices.

  
  


• 
  

  Develop and maintain job descriptions and career paths.

  
  


• 
  

  Lead onboarding, engagement, retention, and offboarding programs.

  
  


• 
  

  Manage full-cycle recruiting and support hiring managers.

  
  


• 
  

  Partner with the HR administration team on payroll, benefits, and compliance.

  
  


• 
  

  Advise leadership on workforce planning, employee relations, and manager development.

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  Experience owning or building HR programs in a growing organization.

  
  


• 
  

  Hands-on experience with performance management, compensation, job architecture, or recruiting.

  
  


• 
  

  Full-cycle recruiting and hiring-manager partnership experience.

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of applicable employment laws and HR practices.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong judgment, discretion, communication skills, and emotional intelligence.

  
  


• 
  

  Comfortable building practical programs in an evolving environment.

  
  

Preferred

• 
  

  SHRM or PHR certification.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience in a software or technology company.

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with HRIS or HCM platforms.
