  • Support recruiting and onboarding across corporate, technical, engineering and operations positions

  • Partner closely with HR executives on projects and evolving business needs

  • Provide HR support across both Texas and California, including travel to California as needed

The position has meaningful exposure to employee relations, multi-state compliance, benefits, leave administration, payroll coordination and HR operations.

What We're Looking For

  • Progressive HR experience, ideally with meaningful employee relations and recruiting exposure

  • Working knowledge of federal employment law and California employment requirements

  • Experience supporting employees across multiple locations or states strongly preferred

  • Comfortable working directly with employees, managers and leadership at all levels

  • HRIS, ATS and Microsoft Office experience

  • Strong judgment, discretion, organization and follow-through

  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP or similar HR certification is a plus

  • Willingness and ability to travel to California as business needs require Human Resources Representative

Schedule & Location

This role is based in Downtown Houston and follows a consistent hybrid schedule:

Monday–Thursday: On-site

Friday: Work from home

This is not a fully remote position. Candidates should be comfortable being an active, visible part of the team in Houston and traveling to California when needed.

Compensation: Dependant on experience.

If you're a well-rounded HR professional who enjoys being a true resource to the business, values a strong team culture, and wants a role where you'll have exposure to far more than one area of HR, we'd love to hear from you.
