SUMMARY: This role is a key member of the HR team. The HR Support Specialist will be the first point of contact for the organization and a primary point of contact for all UA employees. This position will provide essential support to the HR team and other departments across the business as needed. This role will require a keen ability to maintain confidentiality, prioritize effectively, and deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
· Greet and assist all UA visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
· Manage incoming calls and determine purpose and direction for forwarding and take messages as needed.
· Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area and administer the on-site visitor procedures (safety, confidentiality, etc.)
· Provides administrative support to the HR team and other departments as required.
· Responds to internal inquiries in a timely manner and provides guidance on office policies and procedures.
· Maintains and updates various HR systems as directed.
· Provides daily support with tracking and recording attendance absences and communicating with appropriate parties.
· Assists with coordination of company meetings and events which includes but is not limited to preparing correspondence, ordering meals, posting various organizational announcements, scheduling, and arranging travel.
· Assist with onboarding processes for new employees.
· Lead planning and coordination of employee events and employee engagement activities.
· This position operates in an office setting and may require occasional overtime or flexibility in hours to accommodate special events or deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School Diploma or equivalent required, completion of some college course work preferred.
· 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
· Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
· Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help others.
· Detail oriented, with exceptional organizational skills.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
· Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point.
