Human Resource Generalist

We’re growing our HR team at Anoplate!

We’re looking for an HR Generalist who enjoys being close to the people and the day-to-day work of HR. This role will have a hand in recruiting, onboarding, employee support, HR administration, and helping create a strong employee experience across the organization.

Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Supports benefits administration to include   educating and answering employee questions, new employee orientation, enrollment in new benefits.
• Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive   matters to the appropriate staff. Understands the need to maintain confidentiality.
• Maintains data in the HRIS system to include employee compensation changes, personal data, benefit changes, training records, etc.   
• Supports recruiting efforts to include internal and external job postings, conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, setting up health and background checks and scheduling onboarding
•  Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Administers termination processing (Separation paperwork, benefits cancellation, HRIS updates etc)
•  Maintains Medical Leave of Absences and Worker’s Compensation/Disability claims to include employee notices, maintaining communication with out of work employees, submitting claim reports/forms, and overall claim administration.
• Supports company sponsored special events to include company parties, fundraisers, etc.
• Ensures bulletin boards contain current and required employment posters   and any other government or company postings.
•  Uploads job descriptions and any updated HR   forms to DocsVault.  Ensuring current revisions are available for all positions at all times.
•  Files annual State and Federal required workforce   reports (Vets-100/4212, EEO etc)
•  Provides support to the payroll function as needed. 
•  Supports any HR related CMMC requirements. 
•  Maintains various spreadsheets and reports necessary to accurately monitor a variety of company driven metrics.
•  Partners in maintaining the employee reward and recognition program.
•  Partners with the rest of the HR department to ensure all current Federal and State regulations that affect Human Resources   administration are followed and maintained.
•  Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
•  Perform other duties as assigned and required.

Your Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent interpersonal skills and with the ability to handle confidential information. 
• The ability to form and maintain positive relationships with employees and management.
• The ability to learn and apply a variety of human resources applications, including benefits and policies.
• Above average planning, organizational skills, and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a safe, neat and orderly work area and exhibit safe, neat, clean work habits. 

Education / Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and 1-5 years’ experience in Human Resources required. 
• Equivalent combination of experience and education is considered. 
• High School diploma or GED required. 
• Must possess a technical and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and the ability to learn new software and applications. 
• Experience in Paylocity a plus.
