Human Resources Assistant 

The HR Assistant delivers comprehensive administrative, operational, and customer service support to ensure the seamless daily execution of Human Resources processes within a small HR department. Serving as the primary frontline contact for employees and visitors, this role efficiently resolves multi-channel inquiries regarding policies and basic benefits while managing office logistics, master calendars, and departmental communications. The HR Assistant maintains high HRIS data integrity by processing personnel changes, employee lifecycles, from onboarding setup to offboarding paperwork, and employment verifications, all while strictly safeguarding confidential records in compliance with state archiving laws. Working closely with the HR Director and HR Business Partner (HRBP), the role provides vital programmatic support across leave administration tracking (FMLA/ADA), Open Enrollment logistics, employee training coordination, and workplace safety and wellness initiatives.

High School Diploma or equivalent required, plus at least two (2) years of administrative, customer service, or clerical experience (human resources experience highly preferred). An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.

This part-time role offers a starting pay of $18.00 per hour. While standard benefit packages are not included, employees enjoy access to the county wellness center and gym facilities, as well as opportunities to attend employee events and professional development workshops.
