Job Description - Human Resources Coordinator

Pay Range: $20-$24 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES



  • Responsible for HR Quality Assurance activities as identified by HR Director in areas of responsibility 

  • Collaborates on annual reporting and updates as required

  • Ensures all activities in area of responsibility meet CARF requirements

  • Completes regular reporting for HR Director on areas of oversight and other areas as requested 

  • Maintains electronic employee personnel files by uploading and auditing documents 

  • Serve as primary person responsible for processing Pre-Hire requests, New Hire Set Up and Onboarding, and New Hire Paperwork Auditing with the oversight of the Recruitment and Onboarding Specialist 

  • Monitors HR email box and elevates issues as needed to appropriate parties

  • Completes and tracks Verifications of Employment and EDD/ Disability Inquiries

  • Sends out termination paperwork as needed, coordinates with local office and payroll to ensure timelines are followed and completes employee termination checklist tasks

  • Provides Internal Customer Service by answering questions for staff, resetting passwords and answering employee questions

  • Supports Safety Administrator with duties/tasks as needed. 

  • Completes benefits administrative tasks as assigned such as enrollments, changes and audits under the oversight of the HR Generalist

  • Completes Term Filing and conducts Corodata maintenance such as archiving files at the end of the year

  • Oversees administrative duties for the DMV Pull program such as enrollments, audits, and uploads, and elevates to HR Generalist as needed

  • Assists with I-9 tracking, audits and compliance. Utilizes E-Verify for employment authorization.

  • Actively promotes, exemplifies and teaches Adjoin’s code of ethics and Adjoin’s values.

  • Other duties as assigned.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS



  • 18 years of age or older 

  • 1 year experience in an administrative setting supporting a variety of functions

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills are critical. 

  • Demonstrated computer literacy (MS Office) and capability to maintain well-organized records and files. 

  • Ability to follow detailed, multi-step instructions is critical to this position. 

  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and manage time is also an essential component of this position. 

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively navigate and maintain professional boundaries as custodian of confidential information.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS 



  • Successful completion of pre- employment drug screen and background check.

  • Physical evaluations may be required dependent upon specific assigned duties or compliance requirements and may include a TB test and/or a lift and transfer test.

  • Acceptable DMV record.
