Description
The Human Resources professional plays a critical, hands-on role in supporting daily employee matters, employee relations, and comprehensive workplace investigations. This position partners closely with management to provide expert guidance on policies, performance management, ADA accommodation, and compliance. The role utilizes strong critical thinking to evaluate job descriptions, conduct policy reviews, maintain HRIS data integrity, and champion the organizational CREDO.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted resource for employees and managers, offering guidance and conflict resolution.


• Advise management and associates on performance management, disciplinary actions and day-to-day workplace concerns using critical thinking.


• Conduct timely, thorough, and objective investigations into moderate-to-complex employee relations issues from intake to resolution.


• Support the Company with orientation, policy guidance, and training.


• Recommend and approve disciplinary actions while ensuring legal compliance.

• Maintain compliance by updating policies and associate handbook and preparing audit and regulatory documentation.

• Maintain HRIS data integrity in UKG and update associate files.


• Represent the company in unemployment claims.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage full lifecycle investigations and evaluate risks.


• Expertise in MS Office and HRIS platforms and analytics; able to manipulate and interpret workforce data.


• Strong knowledge of employment laws at the federal, state, and local levels.


• Exceptional emotional intelligence, strong  and influential written and verbal communication, professional resilience in high-stress situations, and the ability to exercise sound judgement and independent problem solving under pressure.


• Ability to manage multiple tasks with confidentiality and apply critical thinking in a fast-paced environment.


• Spanish language fluency is considered a strong operational plus.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR and a professional HR certification, preferred.


• 3+ years of progressive, firsthand Human Resources experience specializing in employee relations, workplace investigations, and ADA administration.


• 1+ year of dedicated employee relations experience managing cases independently from intake through resolution is highly preferred.


• Prior HR experience in property management or similar industry is a plus.

This position offers an hourly rate of $45.67 to $49.00 depending on experience, including annual bonus potential, plus benefits!
