Human Resources Generalist

Full-Time | Remote, Hybrid, or On-Site | $32.00–$38.00/hour

McCreadyLaw is looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our growing HR team.

This is a hands-on role in a developing HR department, so we need someone who is comfortable living in the weeds. You’ll support employees and managers, administer benefits, assist with employee relations, track leave and accommodation matters, and help strengthen HR processes as we continue to grow.

This role isn't for someone who wants to stay at the 30,000-foot level. We need someone who can dig into the details, solve problems, follow through, and help bring structure to a busy HR function.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as a day-to-day HR resource for employees and managers.
• Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, qualifying life events, open enrollment, employee questions, and vendor issues.
• Support employee-relations intake, fact-finding, documentation, and manager coaching.
• Track leave and accommodation documentation, deadlines, and follow-up.
• Support performance reviews, employee engagement, and HR programs.
• Maintain accurate HR records, trackers, and case documentation.
• Help improve HR processes and ensure open items are brought to closure.

What We Need

• 3–5 years of progressive HR experience.
• Direct, hands-on benefits administration experience is required.
• Direct employee-relations experience.
• Experience supporting managers with performance, attendance, and employee concerns.
• Experience with workplace fact-finding or investigations.
• Working knowledge of employment practices , leave/accommodation processes and HR recordkeeping.
• HRIS experience; Paylocity is a plus.
• Strong judgment, organization, communication, and follow-through.
• Comfort working in a developing HR environment where you may need to build, clean up, or improve processes while continuing to handle the day-to-day work.

You’ll do well here if you are resourceful, steady, not afraid of detailed work, and comfortable working in an HR department where some processes are still being built and improved.

$32.00–$38.00 per hour, approximately $66,560–$79,040 annually, based on experience, qualifications, internal equity, and approved work location.
