HVAC Chief Estimator

This is a permanent, full time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Review and approve HVAC Estimating projects and major buyout of projects.


• Coordinate with Chief Plumbing Estimator and report to Estimating Director.


• Mentor Jr/Mid-Level HVAC Estimators in helping them grow with the company.


• Communicate with subcontractors and vendors for any modifications on estimates.


• Meet with clients to develop and evaluate necessary data that needs to be gathered to complete project costs.

Requirements:

• Title 24 and OSHPD knowledge


• 10+ years of Estimating field experience working on large commercial HVAC projects: schools, hospitals, airports, high-rises, hotels, stadiums, data centers, commercial buildings, among others.


• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction or similar


• Strong technical skillset working with MS Excel, Quickpen/Accubid, BlueBeam, other estimating software knowledge is a plus.
