ServiceMaster Superior Cleaning Services is seeking a dependable, motivated HVAC Duct Cleaning Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on field position responsible for performing professional HVAC air duct and ventilation system cleaning in residential and commercial properties.
The HVAC Duct Cleaning Technician will inspect HVAC systems, set up and operate specialized duct-cleaning equipment, clean supply and return ductwork and associated components, protect customers' property during service, and ensure each project is completed safely and professionally.

Primary Responsibilities
• Perform residential and commercial HVAC air duct cleaning services.
• Inspect HVAC systems and ductwork prior to beginning work and identify visible contamination, damage, or other conditions requiring attention.
• Clean supply and return ductwork, registers, grilles, diffusers, and other accessible HVAC components as required by the scope of work.
• Set up and operate negative-air machines, HEPA-filtered equipment, air compressors, agitation tools, vacuums, and other specialized duct-cleaning equipment.
• Properly access duct systems using approved methods and seal access openings upon completion.
• Protect flooring, walls, furniture, and other customer property before beginning work.
• Establish appropriate work areas and containment when necessary.
• Perform HEPA vacuuming and detailed cleaning of workareas following service.
• Maintain clean and organized equipment, vehicles, and work areas.
• Complete required job documentation, photographs, workauthorizations, and service records.
• Identify and report conditions outside the original scope of work to management.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding the work being performed.
• Follow company safety policies and applicable industry standards.
• Assist other technicians and departments with cleaning and restoration projects when needed.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• HVAC duct cleaning, HVAC, restoration, construction, maintenance, or related field experience is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to complete company-provided training.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and specialized cleaning equipment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to work independently after training.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass applicable pre-employment screening requirements.
Physical Requirements
This is a physically demanding field position. Employees must be able to:
• Regularly lift and carry equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and climb throughout the workday.
• Safely climb and work from ladders.
• Work in attics, basements, crawlspaces, mechanical rooms, and other confined or limited-access areas.
• Work in hot, cold, dusty, or otherwise challenging job-site conditions.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respiratory protection when necessary.
Work Schedule
• Full-time position.
• Typical schedule is Monday through Friday.
• 10-hour shifts may be scheduled depending on workload.
• Overtime opportunities available.

• Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required based on business needs.

Training & Career Development
Previous duct-cleaning experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate. ServiceMaster Restore provides hands-on training in equipment operation, HVAC duct-cleaning procedures, job-site safety, customer service, and company procedures. Employees may also have opportunities to receive additional industry training and certifications as they develop within the position.
