HVAC Energy Modeler

HVAC Energy Modeler position with a large mechanical construction company

We are a large growing mechanical contractor that works on many large mechanical hvac projects. This is a full-time position with great benefits, retirement package, and plenty of room for career growth.

Responsibilities:

• Analysis of whole building energy, and passive building systems solutions.


• Manage life cycle cost analysis, report writing, and all data visualization and analytics.


• Assessment in underlining building physics surrounding energy thermal comfort, airflow, and air quality.

Requirements:

• Local


• Stable work history.


• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Architectural engineering.


• Strong knowledge in Energy Plus, aQuest, IES, and modeling protocols (ASHRAE 90, Seattle Energy Code c407, 1Appendix G, or similar).


• Experience with programming/scripting, Revit MEP, BIM/3D modeling, LEED, and daylighting experience a plus. As well as combining sustainable design methods in building and developing a low carbon infrastructure solutions.
