HVAC Maintenance Mechanic

Under the direction of the HVAC Manager, the incumbent adjusts, repairs, troubleshoots and maintains heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems. High School diploma or technical certificate required as well as a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience with commercial industrial equipment; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Must have CT D-2 HVAC license. Must possess excellent eye/hand coordination as well as close vision. Must maintain current CT state D2 HVAC license and possess basic mechanical aptitude. Must be able to read, understand and interpret schematics, plans, diagrams and drawings. Prolonged periods of walking, reaching, climbing and moving/carrying weight of up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work in high/precarious places, be near fiberglass insulation and electrical current. Must possess a valid driver's license.
