Job Description - HVAC Project Sales

About the Position


This is a field-based, outside sales role focused on building relationships and generating new business within the commercial sector (B2B).


We’re looking for a driven HVAC Project Sales professional to support the growth of our commercial division. In this role, you’ll sell comprehensive HVAC solutions, including design-build projects, system replacements, retrofits, and energy-efficient upgrades. You’ll partner with clients to understand their operational needs and recommend solutions that enhance comfort, performance, and long-term efficiency.


Primary Responsibilities



  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial customers, contractors, and key stakeholders

  • Identify and pursue opportunities for system upgrades, replacements, and new installations

  • Create and deliver detailed proposals outlining scope, pricing, and project timelines

  • Coordinate with engineering and project management teams to ensure smooth execution of awarded jobs

  • Stay informed on industry developments, including energy standards and emerging HVAC technologies

  • Meet or exceed established sales goals and contribute to overall revenue growth


Qualifications



  • Demonstrated success in HVAC sales, project sales, or a related technical sales environment

  • Working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, applications, and equipment

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines simultaneously

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related field is a plus
