JOB PURPOSE:
The role of the Hydronics Project Lead is to lead field techs through the construction process on hydronics jobs. This entails leading by example by working efficiently through the build-up of hydronic systems, setting goals and benchmarks for productivity, holding the crew accountable, assisting crew in interpreting plans, and ensuring that the necessary material and equipment is available on site. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The role of the Hydronics Project Lead is to run hydronics jobs through self-performing installation and managing field techs. This entails leading by example through working efficiently through the build-up of hydronic systems, setting goals and benchmarks for productivity, holding the crew accountable, assisting crew in interpreting plans, and ensuring that the necessary material and equipment is available on site in advance of installation. To accomplish this, Hydronic Project Leads will work closely with the Hydronic Department Manager and Project Manager to order material, give feedback on job progress, provide input on project schedule, and provide information changes/difficulties encountered throughout the build and identify scope gaps and initiate change order process. Provide information in addition to communicating with Department Manager, Hydronic Project Leads are expected to coordinate with Site Supervisors and other trades as necessary.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: talk and hear others both physically present and on the telephone; sit and stand; move, use hands to operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move objects up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects over 50 pounds.
