What You'll Do
As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will:
Plan, coordinate, and deliver educational programs, orientation, and ongoing staff development.
Assess learning needs and create educational opportunities that support clinical excellence.
Develop and present in-services, continuing education, and competency-based training.
Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff across the organization.
Collaborate with leadership, departments, and schools of nursing to support professional development.
Promote evidence-based practice and assist with implementing best practices.
Participate in developing and updating nursing policies, procedures, and clinical standards.
Function as a change agent by supporting quality improvement initiatives and practice advancements.
Provide limited direct patient care to maintain outpatient and perioperative clinical competencies.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Education
Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of two years of recent clinical nursing experience
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of hire
Preferred
Previous nursing education or staff development experience
American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire
American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within six months of hire
