Independent Contractor Window & Door Installer (1099)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Window & Door Installer to join our network as an independent contractor. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who takes pride in high-quality craftsmanship, works efficiently, and values customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, and service residential and/or commercial windows and doors
• Measure job sites accurately and ensure proper fit and sealing
• Remove existing windows/doors and dispose of materials as needed
• Apply insulation, flashing, and weatherproofing to meet industry standards
• Identify and communicate any structural or installation issues
• Maintain a clean and safe job site
• Interact professionally with customers and represent the company well

Qualifications

• Proven experience installing windows and doors (2+ years preferred)
• Strong knowledge of installation techniques, tools, and materials
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and measurements
• Must supply own tools and transportation
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• General liability insurance required (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
