Job Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting staff, members, dealers and refinance partners in all aspects of funding new indirect purchase and refinance loans.  This position ensures loan packages are accurate and complete by reviewing and updating documentation, collecting and verifying supporting documents, and opening new membership accounts for loan origination.  All loan product, terms, and interest rates must be validated in addition to adherence to all applicable laws, regulation, policies and procedures.  Efficient and timely funding of consumer indirect loans while delivering a high level or accuracy and service.  Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for coordinating with dealers and refinance partners to obtain any missing documentation required to fund. 

Salary: $20.00- $25.00 Per Hour Depending on Experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and update newly submitted loan packages for accuracy.
• Communicate directly with dealership and refinance partners to resolve loan file issues.
• Collect and review supporting documents required, as needed, to process the loan.
• Calculate gross monthly income utilizing submitted documentation.
• Document all actions taken within the electronic loan origination computer system.
• Review loan origination documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Review all loan application information and documents prior to funding the loan.
• Verify the loan product and interest rate are accurate prior to funding the loan.
• Accurately fund and originate the new loan including disbursement of loan proceeds to designated payees.
• Accurately open new membership accounts including field of membership eligibility.
• Verification that all policy and procedural requirements were met during the funding process.
• Timely follow-up and resolution of loan files missing items preventing them from being funded.
• Effectively manage a personal queue of loan applications to maximize productivity.
• Ensure loan documents are archived for records retention purposes.
• Provide administrative support to the department as needed.
  
  Qualifications:
  Required Skills:
• Minimum of six months of similar or related experience in lending, banking, or financial services
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

• General knowledge of lending industry regulations, including Reg B, D, E, Z, CC, DD, FCRA, BSA, Patriot Act, Anti-Money Laundering rules, OFAC, HMDA, TRID, BSA, ECOA, FDCPA, TCPA, and MLA
