Indoor Track and Field Coach

Kingdom Heights Preparatory School is seeking a faith-centered, knowledgeable coach to help develop its Indoor Track & Field program. The coach will guide student-athletes in athletic growth, personal discipline, and Christian character while building a positive and competitive Royals culture.

Responsibilities

- Plan and lead organized practices that develop skills, conditioning, technique, and event knowledge.

- Instruct and support student-athletes in assigned event groups, such as sprints, distance, jumps, and throws.

- Prepare athletes for meets, including event readiness, warm-ups, and competition expectations.

- Promote sportsmanship, accountability, teamwork, and academic responsibility.

- Communicate professionally with student-athletes, families, school leadership, and the Athletic Director.

- Follow all school, AHSAA, and NFHS requirements for coaching, student safety, and background screening.

Qualifications

- Demonstrates strong Christian faith, sound judgment, and a servant-leadership mindset.

- Has track and field coaching experience or competitive experience in one or more events.

- Understands safe training practices and age-appropriate athlete development.

- Values discipline, academic excellence, sportsmanship, and positive communication.

- Can collaborate with school staff and contribute to a welcoming program for boys and girls.

Compensation Compensation is based on experience.
