Industrial - Commercial Electrical Service Journeyman

• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems, components, and related equipment according to safety codes.  
  
• Analyze and repair motor and control systems commonly utilized in industrial and commercial settings.  
  
• Assemble raceway and cable tray systems.  
  
• Execute preventive maintenance activities on electrical wiring and systems.  
  
• Comprehend electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.  
  
• Exercise problem -solving and critical -thinking abilities to solve problems.  
  
• Install, program, and mount VFDs, soft starts, transformers, and motors, and panelboards.  
  
• Stretch and run wire, conduit, and other materials of varying sizes.  
  
• Connect motors and transformers.  
  
• Utilize threaders, big pipe benders, and tuggers as necessary.  
  
• This position is safety sensitive.
  

Requirements

• Must have an active Oklahoma Electrical Journeyman's license. 
  
• Previous experience in management is highly preferred.
  
• The technician's proficiency is expected to grow with their accumulated experience.  
  
• Comfortable reading and comprehending electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.  
  
• Proficiency in using manual and electric tools commonly used in electrical tasks.  
  
• Able to handle the physical workload.  
  
• Proficiency in electrical theory, along with the related principles, materials, and equipment.  
  
• Must have OSHA 10 and a valid driver's license.
