Industrial HVAC Service Technician

D&L LLC is an industrial HVAC, mechanical, and sheet metal contractor serving manufacturing, commercial, and mission-critical facilities across the Southeast. As an Industrial HVAC Service Technician, you will play an important role in supporting customers' day-to-day operations by keeping commercial and industrial HVAC equipment running reliably. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys hands-on problem solving, takes pride in quality workmanship, and brings a responsive, service-oriented approach to field work.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues across HVAC equipment.
• Respond to service calls and complete troubleshooting in a timely manner.
• Follow safety standards while servicing, inspecting, and testing HVAC units.

• 3+ years of HVAC service experience in commercial or industrial environments.
• Strong troubleshooting experience across mechanical, electrical, and control systems in HVAC equipment.
• Experience reading wiring diagrams for HVAC service diagnostics.
• Experience using meters for HVAC service diagnostics.
• Hands-on experience servicing RTUs, mini splits, and package units.
• Experience following HVAC service safety standards.
• Ability to work responsively with plant maintenance teams on service calls is a plus.
• Hands-on experience servicing chillers, air handlers, and air systems is a plus.
• Experience with general building automation controls, including systems such as Trane, Carrier, and York, is a plus.
• EPA Universal License
• Valid Driver's License
• Eligible to work in the United States.
