Southern Aluminum Foundry (SAF) is on the hunt for a seasoned Industrial Maintenance Technician, not just someone who knows the ropes but an individual who has mastered them. We are located in the heart of Clinton, SC, where precision and skill are the cornerstones of our operations.

About The Role:

We are not in the market for a helper; we are in search of a full-fledged person with hands that have crafted experience in industrial maintenance. Your role goes beyond maintenance; you will be helping set up completely new systems at our plant as we get new machinery. Other equipment will be moved or taken out.

You will not just be tinkering with wires but keeping our foundry moving, ensuring our machinery is not just working but performing at its best. Your knowledge of industrial electricity should not just be theoretical but tried, tested, and proven. Running voltage, wiring control circuits, and installation in an industrial setting should be your second nature.

Day-to-Day:

The foundry environment is hard work. When a new machine comes in, you will be working with others to install it. When the line goes down, you’ll be relied on to problem solve and get it going again.

Every day, you will dive into a world where your skills are not just required but revered. With tools in hand and precision as your ally, you will maintain, repair, and optimize our machines, ensuring that every cog, circuit, and system is a symphony of efficiency. Compensation

This position earns a competitive wage of $30-38 an hour depending on experience.

Requirements

Your knowledge should be vast, encompassing the intricacies of industrial electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage sensors. Proficiency in maintaining mechanical systems, a basic understanding of manufacturing, and the ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and machinery manuals are not just preferred but essential.
