As a Industrial Security Analyst \u2013 Level 4 located in Redondo Beach, CA, you\u2019ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. \n\nThe Industrial Security Analyst \u2013 Level 4 will support our Multi Domain Operations Security Team.\n\nIn this job, you will:\n\n * Develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment\n * Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations\n * Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies\n * Prepare manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials\n * Conduct security education classes and security audits\n * Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken \n * Demonstrate the skill and ability to perform complex tasks independently without appreciable direction\n * Support multi-disciplinary (DoD, SAP, SCI) security programs across several Operating Units located at Redondo Beach location\n * Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.\n * Communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings.\n * Develop solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation\n * Ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives\n * Demonstrate excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills\n * Enable effective communication with team members, fellow employees, and government officials\n * Showcase strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with internal/external customers\n * Recognize opportunities and take independent action to resolve challenges\n * Collaborate effectively with security peers and program management team members and work on a team with minimal oversight\n * Effectively engage with team members on task completion\n * Other duties as assigned\n\n\n\nIf this job description reads like it was written specifically for you, consider joining our team!\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree with 8 years of professional experience \u2013 OR \u2013 Master\u2019s degree with 6 years of professional experience \u2013 OR \u2013 PhD with 4 years of professional experience\n * Will consider an additional four years of experience in lieu of a degree\n * Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) and/or Sensitive Compartmented information (SCI) approval(s) within a reasonable period of time\n * Must have in-depth knowledge with the CFR 32 part 117 (NISPOM); Joint Air Force, Army and Navy (JAFAN), Intelligence Community Directives (ICD); DoD Manuals, and other related security requirements\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Active SCI \u0026 SAP access\n * Current Polygraph\n * Demonstrated organizational skills\n * Working knowledge of Northrop Grumman and Government systems (ESIS, DISS, JADE)\n\n\n\nCurious about all the exciting developments with the Northrop Grumman Space Sector? For more information on our Total Rewards package, please visit our Total Rewards site.\n\nNorthrop Grumman Total Rewards\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $117,500.00 - $176,300.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
