As a Mechanical/Electrical Assembler, you will support the assembly, installation, and integration of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC components into energy storage enclosures and modular industrial structures. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, HVAC installation, construction labor, or general industrial assembly.
Key Responsibilities
Component & System Assembly
The Mechanical/Electrical Assembler will assemble, install, and integrate mechanical, electrical, and structural components into energy storage enclosures and modular units.
Follow assembly drawings, blueprints, schematics, and written work instructions.
Mechanical Assembly
Perform hands-on tasks: cutting, drilling, mounting, bolting, fastening, and structural integration.
Install mechanical components, hardware, ducting, frames, and industrial parts.
Electrical Assembly & Wiring
A Mechanical/Electrical Assembler will assist with running conduit, pulling wire, cable routing, and installing electrical components.
Use multimeters, meters, and diagnostic tools to test and troubleshoot circuits.
Perform basic electrical installation, maintenance, and repairs (as qualified).
HVAC Installation
Install HVAC units, ducting, vents, and climate control systems for modular enclosures.
Blueprint Interpretation
Read and follow simple blueprints, diagrams, and assembly drawings to ensure accurate integration.
Power Tools & Equipment
Operate drills, saws, grinders, impacts, and other power tools safely.
Support material handling, staging, and workspace organization.
Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Mechanical/Electrical Assembler, construction laborer, mechanical assembler, electrical assembler, HVAC installer, or industrial assembler.
- Proficiency with power tools, tape measures, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and diagrams.
- Experience with electrical tasks (conduit, wiring, testing) or HVAC installation (preferred).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs+, stand for long periods, and work in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety.
Preferred Experience
- Modular construction, containerized structures, or energy storage system assembly.
- Mechanical, electrical, HVAC, or fabrication background.
- OSHA, safety training, or industrial construction experience.
