REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Required:
- Microscopic specimen evaluation
- Management of vascular access devises/central venous catheters
- Familiarity with intravenous medications
- Central line placement
- Intrathecal administration of anti-infective agents

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: Board Eligible required
Licenses: Universal License (IMLC)
Certifications: BLS
Fellowship: Preferred

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide inpatient care for patients at Stafford Hospital and Mary Washington Healthcare.
Perform new inpatient consultations for infectious disease cases.
Manage infectious disease cases including diagnostic and treatment planning.
Take call for new inpatient consults after hours (on-call coverage).
No outpatient clinic responsibilities; focus on inpatient care.
