Information Systems Manager

DCN is looking for an Information Systems Manager to direct activities related to internal IT, application development and administration, and cloud services. This position may be located in either our Bismarck or Fargo office.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

• Accomplishes financial objectives by determining service level required; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; initiating corrective action.


• Sustains information systems by defining, delivering, and supporting information systems and auditing the application of systems.


• Plans and directs the installation and maintenance of DCN’s IT hardware and software.


• Leads DCN’s software development lifecycle processes.


• Assists and leads developers in maintaining knowledge and applicable documentation for interactions and dependencies across internal and external applications used by DCN employees.


• Oversees IT, cloud, and development projects end-to-end including aligning top-down and cross-departmental priorities, while engaging stakeholders and facilitating internal and external communication as necessary


• Plans, implements, and aids in administration of DCN’s cloud service infrastructure.
  

Successful candidates will be highly skilled in analytical thinking and problem solving as well as reading and interpreting technical documents/information. Strong internal and external communication is essential. The ability to improve or redesign department procedures and processes as well as work independently and make sound technical decision is imperative.

A bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of three years' experience with routing, switching, and IT hardware and software environments is required. To apply, submit a cover letter and current resume. Applications will be accepted through May 7th or until the position is filled.
