The Infusion Registered Nurse provides safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, supportive medications, and other intravenous or injectable treatments within the outpatient infusion center.
This role requires strong clinical assessment skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to recognize and respond appropriately to changes in a patient’s condition. The Infusion RN works closely with providers, pharmacy, fellow nurses, and other members of the oncology care team to ensure treatments are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established treatment plans, policies, and evidence-based practices.
