Description

The Acute Care Pharmacy Tech I performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt accurate manner. Fill/dispense oral and IV medications, triaging patient orders and maintaining the integrity of the automated dispensing system. Performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the Providence Mission, Vision and Values.

Required Qualifications:



  • H.S. Diploma or GED

  • Washington Pharmacy Technician License upon hire



Preferred Qualifications:


  • Graduation from a Pharmacy Tech program approved by the WA State Board of Pharmacy

  • Work experience in a retail pharmacy setting
