GAP Technologies, Inc. (or "GAP", an acronym for "Geniuses At Play") was founded in 2001. The initial focus of the company was to develop web-based educational course evaluations. Today, with over ten years of experience, the SmartEvals products cover all of a school's needs for helping complete the "student success puzzle". We currently serve the needs of hundreds of collegiate institutions with a fully-hosted SmartEvals.com software application. Our products allow the flexibility to support the diverse range of educational institutions ranging from small community colleges to large research universities. http://smartevals.com

Job Description

Gap Technologies, Inc. is a software development company that is breaking ground in the field of survey software for colleges and universities. We are a 12 year old company that is looking to add highly motivated and charismatic individuals to join our team. The ideal candidate is a dedicated self-starter with a persuasive personality, a solution-oriented mindset and a personal drive for success within a growing company. If you have a confident, entrepreneurial spirit and are looking to expand your skill set in a quality organization that respect, supports and rewards its team members, then we believe this is the perfect opportunity for YOU.

Responsibilities:
• This is an inside sales position that requires less than 25% travel to and from conferences and clients
• Establishing relationships with decision makers among collegiate administrative staff that will further our company’s presence in the marketplace
• Active participation in on-going product training for all solution lines
• Closing the sale by understanding the client’s needs, providing solutions and gaining access to the decision makers at colleges and universities
• Be a compelling and articulate speaker in a variety of settings while easily adjusting you message to match the audience

Qualifications

Qualifications:
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Must be motivated, disciplined, and self-directed with strong follow-up skills.
• The ability to be assertive and persuasive without being aggressive
• Active listening skills and the ability to read people
• The ability to quickly learn new concepts and willingness to be mentored
• Outbound phone marketing and cold calling experience
