Inside Sales Estimator

The Inside Sales Estimator prepares accurate and competitive concrete proposals, coordinates awarded projects, and maintains the pricing and project information needed for successful execution. This position works closely with customers, Sales, Quality Control, Dispatch, Operations, and Administration to support profitable sales and excellent customer service.

Core Responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications, addenda, and other project information to determine scope, quantities, delivery requirements, and potential risks.


• Prepare accurate and timely estimates, quotations, and proposal revisions.


• Match concrete mixes and specialty products to project specifications in collaboration with Quality Control and Operations.


• Apply established pricing strategies while considering project requirements, operational needs, customer relationships, and profitability.


• Coordinate submittals, approvals, and the transition of awarded work into active projects.


• Set up and maintain accurate project, product, pricing, purchasing, and documentation records in company systems.


• Respond to customer questions and assist internal teams with project, pricing, dispatch, and billing information.


• Maintain project estimates, quantities, schedules, backlog information, and other data used for forecasting.


• Communicate project changes and requirements to affected departments.


• Follow company safety standards, maintain professional conduct, and participate in training and continuous improvement.
