Job Description - Inside Sales Representataive

We’re seeking a motivated, customer focused Inside Sales Representative to support our growing sales team. This role is responsible for managing inbound customer inquiries, generating quotes, processing orders, and driving revenue through proactive follow-up and relationship building. You’ll play a critical role in helping customers find the right solutions while delivering an exceptional buying experience.

Here’s a General Overview of What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Answer inbound customer phone calls and emails to place orders or request quotes

  • Process customer orders and generate accurate and timely quotes

  • Proactively follow up on quotes to drive conversion and close sales

  • Support customers with product inquiries, sample requests, and other general questions

  • Build strong customer relationships by delivering responsive, solution-oriented service

  • Collaborate with internal teams including Sales Administration, Outside Sales, Territory Management, and Space Planning & Design

  • Partner with Category Management and other commercial strategy teams to support customer needs

  • Learn and effectively use quoting and order management processes and systems

  • Utilize Salesforce and other tools to manage customer interactions and sales pipeline

  • Gain knowledge of freight and delivery processes to better support customer solutions

  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong customer communication skills with a friendly, clear, and professional approach

  • Ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions

  • Sales-driven mindset with a sense of urgency in follow-up and closing opportunities

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment

  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering excellent customer experiences

  • Technical aptitude with the ability to learn multiple systems and tools quickly

  • Collaborative team player with effective cross-functional communication skills

It Would be Nice to Have:

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or inside sales roles

  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce

  • Exposure to order processing, quoting, or sales operations workflows

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
