Inside Sales/Solutions Advisor

Ward Plumbing, Heating & Air is looking for a motivated, personable Solutions Advisor to join our team in Sylva, NC.

This is an inside sales position focused on helping existing customers move forward with HVAC and plumbing solutions that have already been recommended by our technicians and Comfort Advisors. Rather than cold calling or generating new leads, you'll primarily work with customers who have already met with our team and have an open estimate or additional options to consider.

The right person for this role is comfortable talking with customers, asking good questions, identifying concerns, and helping people make confident purchasing decisions without using high-pressure sales tactics.

What You'll Do

  Follow up with customers who have open HVAC and plumbing estimates.

  Check in on the customer's experience and answer questions about options previously presented.

  Identify concerns related to price, timing, financing, or scope and help find appropriate solutions.

  Assist field technicians by phone when they need help closing an opportunity while still with a customer.

  
  


• 
  

  Discuss available financing, membership benefits, and approved savings opportunities.

  
  


• 
  

  Follow up on HVAC replacement estimates presented by our Comfort Advisors.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain accurate customer notes and follow-up activity.

  
  


• 
  

  Track sales, conversions, and follow-up results.

  
  


• 
  

  Coordinate with our Service, Sales, and Management teams to help customers move forward.

  HVAC, plumbing, home services, or ServiceTitan experience is helpful but not required.

  
  

Schedule

This is a full-time, salaried position working approximately 40 hours per week, generally 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with reasonable phone availability as needed.

This position is based in Sylva, NC. Open to remote work for a well qualified candidate.

Compensation

  $39,520 annual base

Compensation includes meaningful upside for someone who is effective at following up with customers and converting existing sales opportunities.

About the Opportunity

This is a new position at Ward and an opportunity to help develop an important part of our sales and customer follow-up process. You'll work closely with our Service and Sales teams while helping customers better understand their options and move forward with needed work.

We're looking for someone who can balance sales ability with a genuinely helpful customer experience. The goal isn't simply to discount a job until it sells - it's to understand what is keeping the customer from moving forward, build value in the solutions we've offered, and help find the right path forward.
