Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off

Job Description:

• Responsible for performing a variety of tasks including inspection and material handling.


• Prior to shipment to L3Harris customers, inspections/audits are performed on L3Harris manufactured product and OEM purchased parts to insure compliance to Sale Order requirements. 


• Inspector will be required to verify quantity and accuracy of Sales Order Line Item components against the Bill of Material structures.


• Inspection results are documented electronically, so computer proficiency is necessary.


• Material handling involves unpacking and re-packaging inspected material; this will include working with shipping containers, pallet jacks and box tape machines. 


• Personnel are required to routinely lift 25 lbs.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) experience desired


• Knowledge and usage of AGILE preferred


• Numerical accuracy and attention to detail


• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and email platforms

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $18.30-$33.65. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
