We're currently seeking an experienced Commercial Equipment Installer to join our growing team in the Greater Kansas City area (Kansas or Missouri). In this role, you'll be responsible for installing, positioning, and setting up commercial food service and refrigeration equipment at customer locations, including restaurants, hospitals, gas stations, convenience stores, and other commercial facilities. You'll work with a variety of equipment, ensuring installations are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently. You'll also assist with equipment testing and startup, coordinate with customers and our team, and complete installation paperwork to ensure a smooth handoff. Ideal Candidate:
- 2+ years of experience installing commercial refrigeration or cold-side equipment. Experience in other technical or mechanical roles will be considered.
- Mechanical aptitude is a must; commercial foodservice equipment experience is a plus!
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems, including ice machines, soft-serve machines, and frozen beverage equipment, is preferred.
- EPA Universal Certification required or willingness to obtain it.
- Occasional overnight travel during the week.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical school training is a plus!
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
