Installation Technician – Build Emergency Vehicles That Actually Matter

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

• Installing lights, sirens, radios, push bumpers, partitions, and storage systems


• Running and cleaning up 12V and 110 wiring (clean work matters here)


• Reading wiring diagrams and schematics and applying them correctly


• Disassembling and reassembling vehicle interiors without damaging OEM components


• Troubleshooting electrical or install issues when things don’t work right


• Supporting production schedules and helping keep builds moving


• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area


• Taking pride in delivering quality work that’s ready for the field

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with vehicle wiring, installs, or upfitting


• Working knowledge of 12V systems, relays, switches, and electrical routing


• Comfortable using crimpers, soldering tools, and electrical test equipment


• Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams and schematics


• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship


• Self-motivated with a solid work ethic and team mindset

Pay & Benefits

The expected starting hourly range for this role is $20.86-$27.50/hour, depending on experience and skill level.

ADA Requirements:

• Bend, squat, climb, grasp, twist, reach, lift or otherwise move frequently for extended periods.

• Lift, move or otherwise transfer up to 50 lbs frequently, or more occasionally.

• Walk, stand or otherwise move about continuously.

• Typically sits, grasp items and performs keyboarding for occasional operation of a computer.

• Exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards including chemicals which may require respiratory protection.
