JOB DESCRIPTION\:
The Instructor, Research Faculty is a non-tenure-track faculty member responsible for developing and conducting independent and collaborative research that advances the department's scientific mission. The individual will contribute to externally funded research programs, publish scholarly work in peer-reviewed journals, mentor trainees and students, and collaborate with multidisciplinary investigators.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Maintain accurate research records and documentation.
COLLABORATION:
Foster productive relationships with research staff, clinicians, and external collaborators.
EDUCATION AND MENTORSHIP:
Provide instruction related to research methodologies and scientific inquiry as appropriate.
ACADEMIC SERVICE:
Contribute to departmental strategic initiatives and research development efforts.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary research teams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
SALARY:
Commensurate with experience.
