Franklin County Memorial Hospital has an immediate full-time opening for an Insurance Biller.  

JOB OPENING:                 Insurance Specialist
DEPARTMENT:                  Business Office
REQUIREMENTS:              2 years billing experience, preferred.  Knowledge of insurance, required.  Knowledge of claims submission and denial management processes for insurance, preferred.

2 years college, preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Insurance billing specialists need to have knowledge of the medical billing process. Must have knowledge of insurance policies and be able to communicate with insurance companies on behalf of medical personnel and patients. This knowledge is used to submit claims and do follow up with insurance carriers to make sure claims are submitted correctly and paid correctly. 

Requires multi-tasking, extensive customer service skills, and the ability to handle stress in a fast-paced working environment.  Integrity in maintaining confidential information.  Convey a positive, professional image.
