Pay: $140,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year

Location:

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is a flexible hybrid opportunity combining in-office collaboration with remote work.

Note:

Candidates must have 2+ years of directly relevant insurance coverage experience. First-party property coverage experience, including policy analysis and litigation, is strongly preferred.

Job Description

• Analyze complex first-party property insurance policies and coverage issues
• Prepare coverage opinions and advise clients regarding pre-suit coverage strategy
• Manage first-party property coverage disputes from initial analysis through resolution
• Conduct examinations under oath and depositions
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other litigation documents
• Represent clients during mediations, hearings, and other dispute-resolution proceedings
• Communicate directly with insurance clients regarding coverage, exposure, and litigation strategy
• Manage multiple active matters while responding effectively to time-sensitive client needs
• Collaborate with experienced insurance coverage attorneys on sophisticated matters

Qualifications

• 2+ years of insurance coverage experience
• JD from an accredited law school
• Active Pennsylvania Bar admission or ability to obtain appropriate admission
• First-party property coverage experience strongly preferred
• Experience with policy analysis, EUOs, depositions, pleadings, motions, and mediations
• Strong legal research, analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management abilities
• Detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple matters simultaneously
• Collaborative, team-first approach

• Salary Bands (Only if attorney role): 

$140,000 to $155,000 for 4 to 5 years;

$155,000 to $175,000 for 6 to 7 years; 

$175,000 to $190,000+ for 8+ years.
