We are seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join our client’s North Jersey team. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 3–8 years of insurance defense litigation experience who can independently manage a litigation caseload while working closely with experienced litigators and firm leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Manage insurance defense matters from inception through resolution

  
  


• 
  

  Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, reports, and other litigation documents

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct and defend depositions

  
  


• 
  

  Handle motion practice and court appearances

  
  


• 
  

  Participate in arbitrations and mediations

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare matters for trial

  
  


• 
  

  Handle automobile liability matters under New Jersey law

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive motions, briefs, and memoranda

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers, claims professionals, and corporate clients

  
  

Required Qualifications

• 
  

  Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

  
  


• 
  

  Active New Jersey law license

  
  


• 
  

  3–8 years of insurance defense litigation experience

  
  


• 
  

  Experience independently managing litigation matters

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motion practice

  
  


• 
  

  Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
