Job Description - Integration Consultant, Core Mobile Communications

Purpose of the Position: The Integration Consultant, supports customer installations and upgrades and serve as a conduit between our customers and integration vendor partners. You will also lead and coordinate efforts with colleagues in the areas of product enhancements, modifications and installations.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Setup/Install Symphony Mobile Communication module interfaces.

  • Provide consultative analysis of current dispatch operations.

  • Recommend best practice workflows to customers in order to help them fully utilize the integration modules.

  • Test modifications and enhancements to the integration modules.

  • Provide small and large group training to customers.

  • Conduct remote training sessions with clients on an as needed basis.

  • Assist Sales team with technical information and Statements of Work.

  • Ability to travel 50-75%, with occasional weekend travel.

  • Ability to interact with varying organizational levels confidently.

  • Ability to communicate technical information coherently to a variety of stakeholders.

Education / Experience:



  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of experience providing customer support and/or training, required; or 6+ years of providing customer software support and/or training, required.

  • Working knowledge of the transportation industry, preferred.

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, required.

  • Experience setting up and installing Symphony Mobile Communication module interfaces, required.

  • Experience testing modifications and enhancements to integration modules, required.

  • Experience with McLeod’s suite of products, preferred.
