*Summary:*
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic Architecture & Construction team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in transforming functional spaces into visually stunning, user-centric environments that align with client vision, project goals, and industry best practices. You will collaborate closely with architects, project managers, and clients to develop innovative interior concepts, from initial sketches to final installations.
*Responsibilities:*
- Develop conceptual designs, mood boards, and design presentations for interior spaces based on client needs and project requirements
- Create detailed technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using CAD and rendering software
- Select finishes, materials, lighting, furniture, and fixtures that align with design vision, budget, and sustainability standards
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design feasibility and seamless integration with structural and MEP systems
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and quality benchmarks
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, measure spaces, and ensure accurate implementation of design plans
- Prepare and present design proposals to clients, incorporating feedback and revising concepts as needed
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainable design practices
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for procurement of materials and furnishings
Requirements
*Requirements:*
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- 1–3 years of professional experience in interior design within the Architecture & Construction industry
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Strong understanding of space planning, lighting design, acoustics, and material specifications
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client interaction skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Portfolio showcasing a range of interior design projects with clear conceptual and technical documentation
- Knowledge of local building regulations, ADA standards, and sustainable design principles is highly desirable
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
