Intermediate to Senior-level Estimator

Intermediate to Senior-level Estimator job in Orange County, CA

This is a permanent, full-time position offering a great salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Review final HVAC estimates prior to submittal to Chief Estimator for approval


• Attend in preconstruction, pre-bid, and client meetings


• Perform accurate take-offs of material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor pricing


• Communicate and coordinate with other internal departments as well as external vendors, sub-contractors, clients, engineers, and suppliers


• Support and guide Junior Estimators to help them grow within the company

Requirements:

• 7+ years’ experience estimating medium and large commercial HVAC projects


• Strong technical skillset working with Trimble Accubid/Quickpen, BlueBeam, and Excel


• Advanced knowledge of piping, sheet metal, ductwork, chillers, boilers, vrv, vrf, among other hvac materials


• Familiar with CA HVAC Title 24 and OSHPD codes
