Internal Medicine / Hospitalist Physician - Palm Springs, CA

We are seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Hospitalist Physician to provide inpatient medical care within a small, collaborative facility focused on rehabilitation and recovery. Summary:

• Monday–Friday schedule with a “round and go” model for efficiency and work-life balance
  


• Provide inpatient medical rounding for rehabilitation-focused patients
  


• Manage and coordinate care for Internal Medicine and post-acute rehab patients
  


• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams (therapy, nursing, case management) to support patient recovery goals
  


• Opportunity to develop longitudinal relationships with patients throughout their recovery journey

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily rounds on assigned inpatient census
  


• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
  


• Collaborate with rehab teams to optimize patient outcomes and discharge planning
  


• Ensure timely documentation and compliance with regulatory standards
  


• Provide clinical leadership and support to facility staff as needed
  

Requirements:

• MD or DO, Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  


• Active or eligible California medical license
  


• Experience in hospitalist, post-acute, or rehabilitation settings preferred
  


• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
