Job Description - Inventory and Truck Specialist

CHICK-FIL-A FIRE ROAD

Now Hiring

Inventory & Truck Ordering Specialist

Full-Time  |  Back of House Operations  |  Reports to Director of Operations

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Inventory & Truck Ordering Specialist plays a critical behind-the-scenes role in keeping our restaurant stocked, organized, and running efficiently. This Team Member handles managing product levels, placing accurate truck orders, and ensuring our kitchen and front-of-house teams always have what they need to deliver Second Mile Service to every guest. This is a great fit for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys the operational side of restaurant leadership.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

•     Conduct regular and accurate inventory counts across food, paper, and supply categories.

•     Place weekly (and as-needed) truck orders based on inventory counts, sales trends, and upcoming promotions or events.

•     Receive and verify incoming truck deliveries against invoices, checking for accuracy, quality, and correct temperatures.

•     Properly stock, rotate, and label product using FIFO (First In, First Out) standards.

•     Monitor par levels and communicate shortages or overages to leadership before they become a problem.

•     Maintain clean, organized, and safe storage areas (walk-in cooler, freezer, and dry storage).

•     Track and help manage food and paper costs as part of the restaurant's overall labor and P&L goals.

•     Partner with the Director of Operations and kitchen leaders to forecast product needs around seasonal menu changes and high-volume periods.

•     Support a culture of stewardship — treating the restaurant's resources as if they were your own.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

•     Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.

•     Comfortable with basic math, counting, and using inventory/ordering software or tablets.

•     Dependable and able to work a consistent schedule, including early mornings for truck deliveries.

•     Able to lift and move boxes/cases up to 50 lbs and work in cooler/freezer environments.

•     Prior experience in inventory, receiving, warehouse, or back-of-house restaurant operations preferred, but not required.

•     A team player who embodies our Core Values and represents the CFA Experience in everything they do.

SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION

Full-time position. Schedule includes early-morning shifts to receive and stock truck deliveries; exact days/hours discussed during the interview process.

$18.00/hour, with opportunities for growth.

Closed every Sunday. Benefits and scholarship opportunities available per company policy.

HOW TO APPLY

Interested candidates should submit an application through the restaurant's QR code or speak with a member of the leadership team in person.
