Inventory Control Specialist

Work Schedule:  Day Shift/Split    1st shift, Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Positions Supervised: None

Primary responsibilities will be to maintain, report and reconcile inventory levels as it relates to packaging and finished goods. Will act as liaison between production, scheduling/purchasing and QA with focus on entering adjustments into ERP system. 

• Cycle counting packaging and raw materials, to include labels, film, cartons and cases on a daily basis 
• Communication to scheduling/purchasing and QA managers on any cycle count findings made that may impact the schedule or      production
• Root Cause Analysis on Inventory discrepancies
• Reconcile appropriate inventory within ERP system
• Responsible for ensuring QA is aware of packaging material dispositions
• Responsible for inventory levels of packaging supplies
• Receive training and become a ERP system “superuser” as it relates to inventory
• Back-up for case printing operation
• Interaction and communication with all departments as it relates to inventory issues
• Responsible for making sure expense items for inventory are replenished
• Responsible for making sure pick lists are completed daily
• Back-up to Inventory Supervisor

Minimum:  

High School diploma

Must have good computer skills, Microsoft Suite, Google Products

Good written and verbal communication skills

Computer experience in Microsoft  Suite, Word, Excel, etc.

Requires  the ability to work effectively plant personnel

A passion for understanding  inventory, packaging, raw materials

Experience in resolving issues, attention to detail 

Experience in communicating  verbally and in writing with all levels of the company

Preferred: 

Associates Degree or 2 year Technical College

 3+ years inventory control experience in a food manufacturing plant

 Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite and Google products

 PLEX systems knowledge
