Hourly Pay Range: $18.00-$27.00- Based on experience
Position Summary:
The Inventory Specialist’s primary focus is to process daily parts inventory requests and transactions. The inventory parts specialist’s primary function is to complete the daily inventory information processing, reporting issues and tracking resolution for specific warehouse locations. The inventory specialist will also work with a team to help develop and implement all policies, procedures, systems and best practices with regard to inventory, for the purpose of maintaining accurate financial information.

Essential Functions:
Place parts orders for upcoming jobs, technician vehicles, and inventory stock.
Perform counter sales and assist customers as needed.
Process parts receiving and reconcile discrepancies between packing slips, purchase orders, and invoices.
Maintain inventory records, including order quantities, preferred vendors, and pricing.
Assist with daily and monthly inventory reporting and reconciliation tasks.
Organize and label parts within the warehouse to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Contribute to team projects, offering creative solutions and ideas for improvement.
Complete cycle counts and full inventory for trucks, warehouses, and other locations.
Act as a backup for other department team members and assist other departments as needed.
Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining systems inventory control.
Participates in special projects as needed.
Experience:
General office experience, familiarity with accounting procedures, and some bookkeeping and data processing experience is preferred.

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent experience is required.
