Who We Are
CardWorks, Inc. is a diversified consumer finance service provider and parent company of CardWorks Servicing, LLC, Merrick Bank and Carson Smithfield, LLC.
CardWorks Servicing, LLC provides end-to end operational servicing functions for credit cards, secured cards, and installment loans. We service consumer and small business loans across the credit spectrum and offers backup servicing and due diligence services to capital providers and trustees.
Merrick Bank is an FDIC-insured Utah Industrial Loan Bank. Merrick operates three main business lines: credit cards, recreational lending, and merchant services.
Carson Smithfield, LLC provides a variety of post-charge-off debt recovery services, including digital self-service, IVR, live agent, and external agency management.
Essential Functions:
Handles report and account level reviews as assigned by area management.
Applies knowledge of each client’s policies and procedures for account maintenance to consistently execute tasks at hand
Follows all guidelines of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA), FCRA and all applicable regulatory standards
Frequently interacts with internal and external customers i.e., (Clients, NY, Utah, attorneys, consumer credit counseling and credit bureaus)
Processes exception reporting with respect to the accuracy and integrity of accounts reporting to the credit bureaus on behalf of our clients, as needed
Assists other associates as needed
Handles special projects assigned to support CWS operations as needed
Performs other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or its equivalent education required
Two (2) years of related customer service or collections experience preferred
Work related inbound and or outbound telephone experience highly desirable
Experience with First Data Resources (FDR) or related platforms preferred
