Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an Invoice Processing Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Invoice Processing Specialist will be responsible for accurately processing and managing all incoming invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments to our vendors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive and review all incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness

- Verify pricing, quantities, and terms on invoices

- Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents

- Resolve any discrepancies or issues with invoices

- Enter invoices into the accounting system and ensure proper coding and approval

- Process payments to vendors and suppliers in a timely manner

- Maintain accurate records of all invoices and payments

- Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding any invoice-related inquiries or issues

- Assist with month-end closing and reporting as needed

- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in the invoice processing workflow

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in invoice processing or accounts payable

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with accounting software

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

- Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
